Then it updated or scrood my drivers over in which the ipod is not detected as an ipod but instead a removable drive. I have even unistalled and tried installing right from the manager to foind it in inf and no where else but still came up with the same problem.
Some hardware i know i can use the Vista Driver for x64 but still does not fix a thing. When installing Quick Time Player, I was saving. Which was wrong!! Run the program. Now I have my iTunes.
Keep in mind this is an older nano, never been reigistered. Hope this helps. But i take hours looking on my laptop. How dowlaod my musie. Windows says its a Ipod problem, Ipod says its a 64 bit problem.
It is unfortunate the two can't get together to solve the 64bit and Vista problem. I would like to use my Ipod, but I cannot synch my computer and the Ipod. Outdated software drivers on your computer can cause strange behaviors when syncing the computer with your iPhone or iPod touch.
Refer to article HT for additional assistance with updating drivers. Once you have updated the drivers, you should be able to sync the photos taken on the iPhone or saved on iPod touch. I hate mine A well known problem but HP's fix was put me off until the warranty runs out and then they dont contact you any more all the while admitting the program Vista does not recognize many normal functions I cannot stand it any longer.
This Vista is truly a mistake-- nothing works right-- i have spent more time on the phone with HP than I spent with my wife and customers and I am sick of it. MY computer tells me that it was either never installed or that it was the wrong one but does NOT tell me how to solve the problem.
Am I missing something? Do you mean to tell me that they are incompatible and that problem cannot be fixed by the might Gates or some other genius in the upper levels of at least ONE of these companies. There should a message that comes up that tells you to double click on this icon and the freaking problem will be fixed!!!

It trys to install the driver and fails. I had nothing on the iPod and about 60gb spare on my laptop, and with 3gb ram without running any other prog's, I don't know what the problem is So in the end I had to bring out my old laptop and let XP do its thing.
